Take your home decoration one step further with a handmade shelf.  In this class you will be walked through a simple design process to choose your own geometric shape and then learn some basic woodworking skills while becoming familiar with the craft and using the shop. You will leave with a ready to hang finished product.  

BIO

Colorado native Heather Mullins is a Denver based artist, educator, and advocate of hands on learning and sustainability. She runs her own art, design and furniture business called Relevant ReUse where she creates products out of of reused and recycled materials including a jewelry line made out of old skis. Heather has taught woodworking and sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Craftsman & Apprentice in Denver. She received her MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008 and BFA from Montana State University in 2005.
