Amy Gossman is a retired middle school teacher who loves to share her skills and knowledge with others.  Her husband, 17 year old son and dog do not share her great passion for sewing, but they try to give her room for all of her supplies!  Amy began sewing at the age of 11 when her mom bought a new Singer Machine and Amy got out the instruction book and set out on a sewing adventure of new clothes for school, doll clothes for her sister and quilt making as time moved on.  She even won a Blue Ribbon at the Iowa State Fair for a shirt she crafted!  Amy has a love of social media as well and her Pinterest Boards and Instagram feeds reflect  her ongoing desire to learn and perfect new ideas as well as practice the tried and true techniques of the craft.  Amy has  a fun and creative approach to teaching and hopes her students will enjoy learning and practicing the skills needed to create beautiful projects with fabric, needle and thread!
