In this course specifically designed for women, Craftswoman Heather Mullins will leave you with a working knowledge of woodworking and using a wood shop. You will learn basic and advanced woodworking techniques including using a bandsaw, table saw, drill press, jointer, planer and several hand tools, all while creating a fun project. Materials, guidance, and a group of supportive (and badass) women provided!

BIO

Colorado native Heather Mullins is a Denver based artist, educator, and advocate of hands on learning and sustainability. She runs her own art, design and furniture business called Relevant ReUse where she creates products out of of reused and recycled materials including a jewelry line made out of old skis. Heather has taught woodworking and sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago, Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Craftsman & Apprentice in Denver. She received her MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008 and BFA from Montana State University in 2005.
