Printmaking Camp [June 19-21]

Join us for a three day, hands-on workshop exploring the diverse world of printmaking.  Students will learn what printmaking is and the various materials used to make prints.  Over three days, students will learn about monoprints, collographs, and linocuts.  Using a pan of gelatin, students will create monotypes that will differ with every print pulled from the surface.  Recycled materials will be assembled on cardboard to create a one of a kind printing plate called a collograph.  Carving from a linoleum surface, students will create a plate that can be used again and again to print the same image.  Throughout the three days, students will learn to use everyday objects that can be used for printmaking, such as styrofoam, cardboard, bubble wrap, vegetables and kitchen tools.

All materials included.  Bring your own lunch!
