There's something about articulated paper dolls that ignites the imagination and delights people of all ages. Join local artist and educator Mieke Lippstreu (they/she) to create a unique paper character fashioned after a famous, fictitious, or entirely fantastical figure. Then, play with positioning them in unexpected postures and places. All materials will be provided in this two hour workshop.

Mieke (they/she/he) is a mixed media artist with a penchant for picking up would-be trash and making art with it. Their work spans upcycled jewelry, framed wall art, and sculptural lights. Mieke is committed to transforming the ways we relate to trash, since burying what’s undesirable only gets us so far. When they’re not doing their trash alchemy, Mieke facilitates workshops.
