This beginner-friendly embroidery class is perfect for anyone who’s brand new to hand sewing, as well as those looking for a relaxed refresher on embroidery fundamentals.

Together, we’ll cover all the essentials you need to get started with confidence, including an overview of embroidery threads, needles, fabric choices, and other basic materials. You’ll also learn an easy and accessible method for transferring patterns onto fabric so you can begin stitching your own designs right away.

The class will include step-by-step instruction in several foundational stitches, including:

• Quilter’s knot

• Tying off your thread securely

• Straight stitch

• Back stitch

• Lazy daisy

• French knot

By the end of the session, students will leave with an embroidery project already underway, along with all the supplies needed to continue and complete it at home.

No prior experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and enjoy a cozy introduction to this timeless craft.
