There are so many great reuse organizations operating in the Metro Area. Here is an an incomplete list of some of our favorites:
Denver Tool Library
It's like a book library, but for tools! $150 gets you a year’s worth of access to over 5,000 hand and power tools to borrow for home repair/renovation, lawn & garden, woodworking, metalworking, carpentry, arts, and more. There is no additional fee per borrowed tool.
Art Parts
A fantastic, long-running creative reuse store located in Boulder, CO.
The Craft Box
A creative reuse store specializing in quilting, needlework, card making, beading, scrapbooking and knitting/crochet supplies.
Ridwell
A nationwide organization focusing on reusing items not generally accepted curbside like plastic bags and film, batteries*, lightbulbs, and textiles (like shoes and clothes).
