The heart is the center of both our physical and spiritual being, representing the wisdom of feeling, compassion, and understanding. It is life-giving, complex, and deeply symbolic. Mirrors also hold meaning beyond their practical use. They represent both the physical and spiritual self, the duality of good and evil, and the ideas of reflection and introspection. In this reflective heart project, you will use imagination and creativity to explore how you see yourself and what you choose to love about yourself, your life, and the people around you.
Join Cal Duran to create step-by-step, a papier mache reflective heart while also going inward—connecting with the heart of the soul. You will add words of affirmation and love, allowing them to radiate outward to yourself and to the world.
Together, we will create a unique, one-of-a-kind heart that tells the story of you.
Session 1: Sculpting with papier mache
Session 2: Painting and decorating your heart
