Get to know the sewing machine and stitch up something fun in this playful beginner workshop led by artist and educator Andrea Fischer! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of machine sewing while creating your very own patchwork stuffed snake.

We’ll cover everything from threading your machine and selecting stitches to sewing curves and combining fabric scraps into a colorful, cozy creature. This is a great introduction for anyone new to sewing or looking to build confidence with simple, creative projects.

All materials are provided—including a mix of fabric pieces for your patchwork snake—but feel free to bring any special scraps you'd like to include. No prior sewing experience is needed.
