Beginner Sewing: Rope Bowls [Sept. 11th]
Beginner Sewing: Rope Bowls [Sept. 11th]
Thursday, September 11th | 6:00pm - 9:00pm
16+ | $90
This class is designed to help you build (or refresh!) a solid foundation in machine sewing. Together, we’ll go over the essentials—how a sewing machine works, how to set it up, and the basic stitches and techniques you’ll need to start sewing with confidence.
To put your new skills into practice, you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind rope bowl, a fun and functional project that’s perfect for beginners. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience with threading, tension, stitching, and shaping, while also learning tips to troubleshoot common issues.
No experience? No problem. While all skill levels are welcome, this class is especially designed for absolute beginners or those returning to sewing after some time away. By the end of class, you’ll not only leave with a beautiful handmade rope bowl, but also with the knowledge, confidence, and resources you need to keep exploring sewing on your own.
All machines, tools, and supplies are provided—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
