Emily Korson
Founder / Executive Director
Emily Korson founded both ReCreative Denver and our sister organization, Seattle ReCreative. A Colorado native, Emily earned a BA from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and a MFA from The San Francisco Art Institute. She subsequently lived in New York, Boston and Seattle before returning to Denver in 2016 with her husband and now teenage daughters. When she's not working behind the scenes at ReCreative or caring for her family, Emily enjoys drawing, ceramics, gardening and walks around Wash Park. What she loves most about ReCreative is the inclusive and creative community it cultivates.

Kelly Eigenberger
Director of Programming
Kelly Eigenberger is a ceramic artist and arts educator based in Denver. She holds a BA in Art History from Knox College, and a Post-Bac in Art Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Kelly has been making pots in her studio at ReCreative Denver since 2020, and joined the ReCreative staff in 2022. As Program Director, she focuses on creating spaces that foster community and hands-on learning, connecting with volunteers, and promoting sustainability in the arts. When she's not working in the store, you can find her in the studio throwing on the wheel, or at home with her rabbit Betty White, dabbling in the dark arts of sewing.
Tobi Luna
Operations Associate
Tobi (xe/xem) here! I like aliens, horror films, and fruit by the foot. My dogs are always "Employee of the Month," so I'm really here by association. Current artistic fixations are watercolor, pen and ink, leather painting, and press-on nails. If you hear sad 80's darkwave in the shop, you know I'm here to help you out.

Operations Associate
Originally from Puerto Rico, I’ve been living in Denver since 2015. I love making candles and metaphysical products, and I have a studio space at RCD where I create and connect. I’ve been involved with RCD since 2020—supporting my partner Cal with all of his art projects/ installations, helping out on volunteer days, and being part of the Hell & Rats/ Pits Edge Vintage shop when it was open. Over the years, RCD has become a safe space for me to create, grow, and build meaningful connections, and I’m grateful to now officially be part of the team!
