A beginner's Crochet 101 workshop where students will learn the basics of the craft. This includes chaining, the single crochet stitch, and how to "read" crochet stitches (identify where to place your hook). This is a one-off workshop that will send you home with yarn, a hook, and some simple patterns you can do on your own with your newly acquired skills.

Angie Rau is an artist of many crafts and some of her work can be found upstairs, outside her shared ReCreative studio. She loves teaching others and facilitating more art to be brought into the world! Sustainability is a major theme in her practice, and all the yarn she uses is thrifted or upcycled, often from ReCreative!
