Create your own stunning, handcrafted bird house from start to finish in this two-part, beginner-friendly workshop led by artist and educator, Vickie Autobee.
In this class, you’ll learn the art of hand-building with clay, guiding your design from raw material to a beautifully finished bird house. During the first session, we’ll shape and personalize your bird house using slab-building techniques—no pottery experience required! In the second session, you’ll return to glaze your piece, exploring color, texture, and finishing touches that make your bird house truly one-of-a-kind.
All materials, tools, and firings are included—just bring your creativity and a willingness to get your hands a little messy. You’ll pick up your bird house after if has been fired, and it can be home for local wildlife for years to come!
